This is a group for folks looking to learn all the myriad of ways to live a sustainable, community-focused lifestyle. This could include eating and sourcing locally made goods, supporting local, small businesses, organic gardening, natural building techniques, to name a few. I started this group because I would love to meet like-minded individuals in the area who are living a self-sufficient lifestyle, or would like to learn more about how to do so.

This group was started to help increase the awareness of genetically modified organisms and help educate consumers about the dangers of their uses and the abuses of corporations such as Monsanto and others who support their use. We are looking for people who will help table at events to help educate consumers.
